The host's were extremely friendly and welcoming. The place was exactly as described in the listing and is in a peaceful and quiet neighbourhood. It's also not too far from the Amanzimtoti Main Beach and stores that you may need. The breakfast was hot and fresh and Heleen does a great job at explaining the options. You also have the option to have the breakfast brought to your room, which is a very nice touch.
The aircon was seemingly on its last legs so it didn't make the room as cold as I'd like and that can be a problem in humid Durban during the summer. However, the hosts did assure me that they are in the process of replacing it.

The atmosphere was great, Heleen and Isak, are wonderful people, down to earth and very kind. The room was great, you really are home away from home🥰
I liked everything. Just want to give advice, I know that food is expensive, if they can add variety in breakfast, like cereals, fruits and a teapot, maybe if they can increase breakfast fee to cover additional.

Dogs that I was not made aware of. I have serious fear of dogs and owners made it seems like I was overreacting. When I mentioned the dogs in the comment notebook Heleen asked me to fill in, she told me that I was being unfair.
