Super zentrale Lage, sehr sauberes Zimmer und Carmelo war immer für alle Anliegen erreichbar und hat sich gleich gekümmert und Fragen beantwortet!!! Der Eingang zum Gebäude ist (etwas versteckt) in der Via Gisira, der Balkon ist auf der sehr belebten Via Garibaldi-Seite. Durch die neuen schalldichten Fenster (+elektrischen Jalousien) hat man nachts aber keine Probleme, gut und ungestört zu schlafen (in Italien tobt das Leben allgemein ja bis tief in die Nacht :-)).

tolle Lage hat den Nachteil, dass es nachts bis um 02h sehr laut ist von den Partys unten auf der Strasse

This is a really good spot for exploring Catania, it does have a direct view of the Duomo, and it's barely 2 min walk from the cathedral. Lots of great eateries and bars within a few minutes walk. The airport bus, as well as buses to Syracuse, Taormina, etc. all stop within 5 min walk from the apartment. We would recommend it for couples looking to spend a few days in Catania who also want to take day trips out (which we did). The host is very responsive and great at solving any issues that may arise, I would say not many full-scale hotels would be this good at reacting.

The room is on the second floor (European second, mind you), with several flights of steps to scale, no elevator, so if you are bringing lots of luggage, beware. Also, while the room and common hallway of the rental are very clean and well appointed, the approach stairs and courtyard looks a bit scary, if you are not familiar with Catania urban landscapes. But there is nothing to fear, it's just how this city is, and if you don't focus on it, you'll definitely enjoy it

Super lokalizacja. Samo centrum: jedzonko, kawusia, słodkości, targ pod domem.To co planowaliśmy zobaczyć było w zasięgu krótkiego spaceru. Klimat obiektu robi wrażenie, stare i nowe jednocześnie. To stare jest trochę straszne ale jednocześnie urocze. Taka jest właśnie Katania. Pod balkonem późnym popołudniem rozstawia się drink bar, aperolki i inne koktajle po 3 euro. Dźwiękoszczelne okna pozwalają spać, nie da się zasnąć przy otwartym balkonie. Jest klima ale nie korzystaliśmy. Byliśmy kilka dni pod koniec października. Kontakt z właścicielem bezproblemowy.
