Hotel Tapowan - Near Tribhuvan International Airport

Location is excellent, close to airport and busses. Staff were fantastic, very helpful and friendly, very good hospitality. The room was large enough and the bed really comfortable. Super hot water in the shower and good wifi. Great rooftop area where you can watch the airplanes with a beer. Would definitely stay again.

decently clean. was given a newer room 3006 that had nice cosy lighting. night staff (anushka?) was very polite and helpful. restaurant staff (manesh?) was extremely helpful and nice.

room layout was very weird, no power outlet at the desk so you have to move it to the bed shelf to boil water. the other outlet is at the door without a table so you have to charge your phone on the bench. desk is in a dark corner of the room with no other table, so you eat ur dinner on the bed? bathroom was also weird - rain shower drenches the sink cabinets when showering. bathroom door has a hole cutout to accommodate the toilet bowl. all of which ok for 1 night stay - until next morning when ure trying to find out where to have bfast - the morning staff was extremely rude and unhelpful: speaks no english and didn’t even try or acknowledge u, making a call is more important than attending to guest. then finally u realise there is no dining room for bfast and u have to go back to your room and eat bfast on the bed again.
