SaraSadan Boutique Hotel - Tribhuvan Airport

Room was recently renovated and excellent. Spacious and with ample space for our luggage and clothes. Breakfast was tasty with both local and international options. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was great.

The shower was the doorless kind, which is sometimes ok. If the shower stall was just a bit longer or bigger. Unfortunately water tends to spray out of the stall… it’s not too bad, just a bit wet outside.

We had a great stay at Hotel Sara Sadan. The property seems quite new, is maintained well, and overall it felt like the hotel is being managed properly. It is also very close to the airport, which was convenient for us. Everyone we interacted with was nice and helpful, but the restaurant and bar team really stood out. Shristi, Tara, Srijana, and Kshitiz/Arpan were all friendly, welcoming, attentive, and professional, and they made the stay feel a lot more comfortable. They were also quite accommodating with timings, even when we came in a bit late, which we really appreciated. The food at the restaurant was also really good. We ate there a few times and enjoyed the thali, and we kept ordering the hot lemon ginger honey tea. We especially liked the version with actual ginger pieces in it.

Nothing major overall. The hotel is very close to the airport, which is convenient, but it does take a bit of time to get into the main city areas. Also, the balcony size can vary depending on the room — one of the rooms we stayed in had a very small balcony, while another had a much better one. There was also some nearby construction noise during the day on certain days, which was quite noticeable when we were in the room and could be annoying if you were trying to rest.
