Nothing it was gorgeous

A fabulous lodge for a group visit. Hot tub was excellent and the whole place was spotlessly clean and in a gorgeous location. Good little park for the kids too.

One of the rooms which had a removable bed in it was so small the door wouldn’t shut with the bed set up.

We loved the location and the size and layout of the property. The hot tub was lovely and always the perfect temperature. The beds were comfortable.

I feel the property is in some need of minor refurb/attention. There was a hole in our bedroom wall, the dishwasher didn’t work very well. Several of the jet covers in the hot tub were either missing or kept coming off while in use. I feel the cleaning could have been better. Skirting boards were dirty and the dining table didn’t look fully clean on arrival. Despite saying the BBQ should be left clean after use- we found it wasn’t very clean on arrival and needed cleaning before use. Both tin openers in the kitchen did not work.

A lovely area which was peaceful and relaxing. Plenty of space in the lodge.

BBQ rusty and broken, we planned having a BBQ but I had to drive out to shops and purchase a lot of cleaning products and wire brushes before using. Washing machine and dishwasher had slight funny smells and the microwave in the lodge wasn't fitted correctly and we couldn't open the door. There was no parasol but a parasol stand and the hot tub had bits hanging off and falling off when you put the jets in. I had to bleed the boiler as no hot water - suggests a leak... And the ensuite toilet was constantly noisy and water running. X box advertised but didn't work and only had one game in for the kids. King size bed felt broken in the middle.
