Alpine Nest Bovec

A great place to stay in the Bovec area and enjoy the Isarco Valley. The apartment is in the centre of Bovec, close to the trails I wanted to walk and the sights I wanted to see. The flat is new, very well-maintained and spotlessly clean. The kitchen is superbly equipped, probably the best I’ve ever seen in such a kind of apartments. The bed is very spacious and incredibly comfortable: we slept like a log. The bathroom is clean and perfectly adequate, with everything you need. The Wi-Fi works brilliantly. The host was excellent: quick replies to all our questions, and helped us with everything. The fact that we could park for free at a car park just a few hundred meters away, thanks to a pass provided by the host, was a super and very much appreciated bonus. The supermarket is just around the corner, as are various restaurants. This was the best accommodation of my two-week holiday in western Slovenia! Highly recommended. If I were to return to Bovec, I’d choose this place again without a doubt!

I liked everything. If I really had to pick out two points to mention, though both are easily overlooked, I’d mention the building and the bedroom. The building itself isn’t in the best condition, unlike the flat. But don’t let the building’s appearance put you off. The second point is the size of the bedroom, which has no window and is completely taken up by the bed. At first glance, it seemed a bit tight, but we actually slept really well there thanks to a super, super comfortable bed!

Parking was a 10 minute walk away, but was grateful it was included as it is not listed.
