Peaceful and comfortable apartment in amazing location

The apartment was lovely, had a fully stocked kitchen with a hob and oven, comfortable beds and a balcony with a mou tain view, in a nice peaceful neighbourhood. Very close to the town centre and from Bovec it was easy to get around on foot or via car to many beautiful hikes and walks with incredible views and swimming spots. The hosts were absolutely lovely, super nice and helpful. We had a wonderful time in the apartment, Bovec and the Soca valley.

Perfect Stay in a Great Location

The location is great, nice and close to the city center. Parking is free. The attic apartment is ideal for a family. The host and hostess are exceptionally friendly. There are two fridges, which is a big plus. It's an ideal base for exploring beautiful Slovenia – stunning Alps, waterfalls, rivers, and a clean country overall.

Everything was as expected – no complaints.

Superb

The apartment was cute and clean, the kitchen is well equipped, adding oil, salt, and sugar would be a plus. The hosts are warm and friendly, you will feel at home. The apartment is in the city center near the market, with different restaurants, bars, and sports centers for various outdoor activities.

Would stay again- lovely owners, perfect location, was comfy and had what we needed.

Fantastic location, parking and a really cute place. It is old fashioned- but unique, it's not your typical hotel room where you can be anywhere in the world. The kitchen had everything you needed (no washing machine- but we didn't require or expect this). Lovely porch and even provided drying hangers. The TV was an old box TV- no idea if it worked. This maybe a problem if you didn't have your own laptop/tablet. The day we arrived it was torrential rain- you couldn't walk in it- it was so heavy, just getting from the parking to the reception we were soaked through and had squeaky wet trainers, so we ended up staying in and planning running/walking routes, etc. The hosts....oh the hosts were soooo lovely, super sweet and friendly- it was an older couple and I would have happily adopted them as my aunt/uncle, they didn't speak much English- but enough to understand and just so nice and friendly. We also got a free coffee (there is an Italian coffee maker in the studio) and homemade biscuits in the cafe/restuarant below.

It could be modernised- the bathroom worked fine, but was very dated, and perhaps a modern TV- hopefully you'll be outside enjoying the amazing location, but if you're stuck with the weather- or you want an early night for a busy hiking day, you may want to spend an evening relaxing in the room. Common with everywhere we stayed in Slovenia you need a key to lock the door- this is a bit of a safety concern for me, as I get up much earlier than my partner so go for long runs- I didn't want to lock him in- incase of the unlikely event of a fire- but he didn't want to not have the door unlocked whilst he was sleeping.

Expensive for what it is

In the center of Bovec

Very basic equipment, no sofa, no shutters. No washing machine within the apartment, poor WiFi connection, old TV. It is not bad but very expensive for what it is. We have been in other places in Bled and lake Bohinj, with a lower price and much better quality.
