It was also one of the hottest days of the year so extremely uncomfortable with heat no air con but this isn’t the lodges fault

Great modern finish, very comfortable , lots of outdoor space and had everything we needed.
We lost power one night so had to call out the warden at 10.00pm. This can happen often apparently. It was pitch black so have a torch ready just incase! We didn't realise that this shut off the hot tub so we missed out on one last day of hot tub as it was freezing cold in the morning.

It was a lovely spot and the good weather helped. Quieter than Windermere which we liked. It was clean, modern and an enjoyable stay. The neighbours and staff in the lakeside village were all very friendly.
The communication with the host was poor. We had to wait around 1.5 hours when we arrived as they hadn’t messaged us with details of how
To get into the property. We were staring to think it was a scam. Left several voicemails and then they finally sent over details. The light for the hot tub was off and the hot water went off one morning. We waited a while to get a response/ this fixed. It’s a shame as other than that we had a nice trip but would’ve expected all of this sorted before we arrived. It wasn’t a great start to the holiday having to wait around for basic info. I would still recommend but these are things that can be improved going forward.
