Ikebukuro House1F -Cozy 2-Bedroom Suite for 1-4 guests

The room was very clean. It's been very hot these past few days, but the air conditioning system worked well and cooled the room down quickly. The kitchen, washing machine, dryer, and other amenities were all provided. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay.

Very quiet and safe area (back street), almost everything you need: washing machine, clothes dryer, microwave, stove, many places to hang clothes, several sockets, very well organized kitchen, more spacious than usual Japanese homes, great blinds that make the room pitch black, great and prompt communication with the owner.

Like most old Japanese homes, the walls are very thin, so you can hear the neighbors walking, talking, showering, and the toilet flushes. We had some neighbors upstairs that used to return home after 11 PM, once at 12.30 AM (after midnight), so it's not suitable for light sleepers as you depend on the other tourist's habits. The toilet is outside the room for 1F (ground floor) room and there is no closet for clothes, but nails/hooks on the walls. Other than that, it is a great place. I will definitely consider it for the next visit, if they manage to renovate/insulate it better by then.

Good location easy access to the city. Quiet suburb.

It was a bit cold. Recommend having some extra blankets available.
