Creebridge Caravan Park

The caravan was great. Comfortable and had all the basics for food preparation. The caravan park is a nice site for kids. Lots of places to roar around in the trees and food for bike riding. The site itself is quiet and peaceful. Not many facilities. A little pond and basic playground for the kids to enjoy.

The staff member working in the main reception was rude and very frustrating to speak with. There is a small on site swimming pool that we tried to use but her signing up system and general manner was so unpleasant that we gave up. It's intermittently open so don't rely on it. There is an on site pub but again, not always open, and the reception staff member was very reluctant to share any useful information on opening hours. She really did create a very negative feeling up at the big house so we avoided it for the duration of our stay. There is not much available locally so you have to drive to everywhere. Not a problem but something to plan for if you like eating out. There was a hard standing for a bbq but no facilities to do this. Tantalising but not available to guests

Fantastic campsite, really well situated with very friendly staff that were unbelievably helpful.

Was only there one night

Really friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Very helpful at the reception. There was a problem with the water heater, but they sorted it out the same day. Handy location near the centre of town & great to have a bit of space outside to enjoy my coffee in the sunshine.

It would have been helpful to have recycling / bin info in the accommodation. Though it was easy to ask at reception & find out.

Location was good because it was hidden away

Given a wheelchair friendly caravan, this made the seating size smaller than standard and very uncomfortable, the outside chairs were dated and uncomfortable, the WiFi was pathetic , the inside kitchen utensils were outdated, had to ask for towels and was given 1 only for two night, that’s one towel for shower , drying hands on etc , get the feeling it’s run on a budget and they try avoid washing towels. By modern standards this park is just woefully out of date and doesn’t look like it’s going to get the money it needs spent on it anytime soon, in reflection I could have stayed in a local hotel and got breakfast for same / less price
