Katie Ann's Thatched Cottage

Das kleine Cottage ist einfach ein Traum. Idyllisch in einer Bucht gelegen, abseits von jedem Trubel. Dennoch ist man sehr schnell in Breadford oder Portree. Die Ausstattung ist super, alles sehr hochwertig und sauber. Auch die Hosts waren jederzeit erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Wer Skye besucht sollte unbedingt hier übernachtend, es ist wunderschön.

Nichts

A lovely cottage with amazing views. Immaculate, clean and furnished and presented to a very high standard. The bed was very comfortable.

Nothing that we didn’t like but it would be helpful to have more cutlery and glasses eg 4 wine glasses instead of 2. The cottage is on a busy road. This was no issue with access or noise inside the cottage but disturbed peace and serenity while sat on the bench outside looking at the loch.

Simply wonderful. Upon walking in, it's just... wow. The cottage is super clean, equipped with everything and more that you could need. Very nice kitchen, and every appliance and accessory seems to be new. There is a clothes washing machine and a place to hang clothes to dry outside. The whisky decanter and glasses were a nice touch. There's a wooden bench outside where you can watch the tide come in and go out, since the loch is right outside the door. It was great to enjoy a drink on the bench while the sun went down, with the provided bluetooth speaker playing my prepared Scottish playlist. Ahhh. This is a great place to relax and forget your troubles. I can say that without a doubt, this was the best place we stayed at during our two-week Scotland trip. Congratulations to our hosts, you've done a great job.

When booking I was a bit concerned by the proximity to the road, but it's lightly travelled and we didn't notice any noise.

Alles wie auf den Fotos abgebildet. Die Lage ist traumhaft, abgeschieden und direkt am Wasser. Man kann viele Vögel und sogar Robben in der Bucht sehen. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut. Die Küche ist sehr modern eingerichtet und es fehlt an nichts. Für die Wäsche stehen ein Wäscheständer für den Innengebrauch als auch eine Wäschespinne im Außenbereich zur Verfügung. Das Cottage ist superschön und gemütlich eingerichtet.
