The apartment is extremely spacious for Tokyo and worked very well for our family with a young child. Everything feels quite new, the beds are large and comfortable, the washing machine in the apartment was very convenient and the water pressure is super strong. The location is excellent: plenty of local restaurants nearby, several convenience stores, a supermarket within walking distance, and Otsuka Station just a few minutes away. Check-in was easy and communication with the host was quick and helpful.

The kitchen is extremely small and not really equipped for more than two people. The biggest downside is the entrance area, as you can see in the pictures, which is cluttered with rubbish and bulky waste and smelled strongly of urine. It was honestly quite embarrassing to enter or leave the apartment when passers-by were visibly reacting to the condition of the entrance. The apartment is also very noisy. The walls are thin, neighbours can be heard easily, and there is currently a large construction site directly next door. Once work starts around 8 a.m., sleeping is no longer an option. Natural daylight is limited due to the ground-floor location, as most windows face a narrow light well. At the same time, the curtains do not fully block out the morning light, which makes the apartment feel both dark during the day and surprisingly bright early in the morning.

We loved the location. It was near the train station so we could easily go about exploring and shopping in tokyo without having to lug our shopping bags a very long way before we get home. The place is located in a very quaint and quiet area, but there are lots of convenience stores, restaurants, supermarket and a Don Quixote nearby! Very comfortable place to stay in, and the shower was the best! The mattresses felt very soft and we were scared we would get backaches but when you lay on them they were surprisingly very supportive.

The walls were quite thin so we could hear our neighbors, but they weren't very bothersome. I think there is a dumping site just outside so it could get quite messy looking.

Le quartier d’Otsuka et vraiment très sympa pour une famille. Proche de tout, des commerces et de la yamanote Line. L’appartement est spacieux pour 4 même s’il ne faut pas être très grand

Malheureusement il y a des déchets devant l’appartement qui attirent des rats. Concernant l’appartement il manque clairement de rangement. L’appartement étant grand, c’est dommage de ne pas installer très facilement une ou 2 commode, ainsi qu’un porte manteau et peut être d’autre meubles pour rendre le tout parfaitement pratique. Par ailleurs, l’appartement étant au RDC, il est assez sombre car les volets sont fermés
