Everything! Highly recommended. The island is beautiful. The cottage and other buildings are comfortable, and have everything you need. We enjoyed sitting outside, fishing from the rowing boat, kayaking, picking bilberries, and lighting a wood fire to heat the water. It was too cold for swimming during our stay, but it would be a good place to swim, too. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, and answer all your questions. They took us and all our luggage to the island and back in their bigger boat.

Nothing. Just be aware that you need to use a boat with an electric motor to get to the mainland, so if you’re worried about this, it might be better to pick a cottage on the mainland. However, we loved being on an island.

We loved everything in Mönni - peace and quiet, great views and opportunities to do water sports and go fishing. The cottages were clean and comfortable. And the host couple was very friendly.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

Tämä oli todella ainutlaatuinen ja elämyksellinen paikka ja sellaista oltiin etsimässäkin. Pienellä veneellä, jossa oli hiljainen sähkömoottori huristeltiin lyhyt matka saarelle ja pojat kävivät sillä myös kalastelemassa. Saivat ahvenia. Vesi oli lämmintä ja uitiin useasti laiturilta, kajakkeja sai kokeilla ja se oli hauskaa meistä kaikista. Mökki ja sanunamökki, grillipaikkoineen olivat kaikki sellaista mitä toivottiinkin yhden yön pysähdykseltä, omassa rauhassa saunoen ja nauttien kesän viimeisistä päivistä.

Kaikki oli hyvin ja isäntämme erittäin avulias ja auttavainen. Ei jäänyt mieleen mitään missä olisi ollut parantamisen varaa.

Everything was simply amazing. Place is super private and clean. Loved everything about it. Boat rides, bbq, kayaking, sauna and seating area located on top of the island to watch the sunset. Host is also very responsive and kind. This place has all you need for relaxed vacation.
