Host was very communicative and allowed us to check in early. Since we were traveling with a four-month-old, being able to check in early after a 10+ hour flight was especially appreciated. About the stay, I really liked the proximity to restraunts, subway stations, and a bunch of markets/convinience stores. The stay was spacious, which also was a plus.

It’s a relatively old house, so it uses floor heating, which takes a while to warm up and felt quite drying. When we visited (late March), the bathroom was also cold. The stairs are very steep so if you have kids, make sure to keep an eye out. During our stay, the internet didn’t work. We reached out to the host, and while he did try to get it fixed quickly, the communication felt a bit uncomfortable. He asked questions like, “Did you touch something? It was fine before,” which made us feel as though we might have caused the issue. We weren’t even aware of where the router was, so this felt uncomfortable. The host later stopped by, confirmed there was indeed a problem with the Wi-Fi, and apologized and did his best to call support immediately. A similar situation happened at checkout. We had to leave early due to our baby, and the host suddenly asked if we knew where the rest of the towels were. We had washed and dried all the towels before leaving, so this also felt unpleasant. But otherwise, the overall space was good, location was good, and the host was quite responsive so giving a good score.
