Kailani Kona-Ocean view, top floor Downtown w pool

Very nice apartment. I apologize for the photos, I had to upload them multiple times. Wonderful view of the sunset as well as other nearby spots to watch as well. Also close to retail shops and the venue for a good luau dinner/show. Parking space is directly below the unit. Many tiare trees to pick up the flowers to surprise your SO. We never saw anyone in the stairs/hallway. Occasionally in the parking lot. Very quiet. We were concerned about frog noise at night from other reviews. Yes they peep, but coming from Maine it's a cherished sound in the spring to hear them. Washer and dryer are great, kitchen is excellent. Decor is nice. If you cook in Walmart and Safeway are nearby, Safeway has the cheapest gas that we saw on the island. My advice regarding directions is to use the Hawaii Island Wellness Clinic as your destination, exactly opposite the entrance to the condominium. Management was proactive about checking in.

AC had an issue while we were there. It functioned but hopefully the temporary problem has been resolved. It cooled the unit well. Shower handle was very difficult to turn, I thought I might break it turning it. When we booked the space only had a non refundable option. We immediately received a written contract to sign, we were a little surprised with the legalese.

Close to the center of Kona (walking distance), easy parking spot, had everything we needed, was very comfortable. The owner was very helpful and gave us the attention and care we needed. We could see the sunset from the apartment, so beautiful!

We really liked the furniture and styling of the condo. They provided all the amenities plus beach recreation items. The value for this condo and the location is just unbeatable!

There’s spots on the wall that need to be painted. The balcony door and sliding bathroom door stick so you have to put your shoulder into it to get them to open/close.

Great location - comfortable
