The hosts were responsive and gave clear instructions. The location was excellent, plenty to do and see within walking distance. Many bars and restaurants close by. Public transport close.

We liked it all.

Our stay was overall very pleasant. The location is absolutely fantastic — very close to the metro, buses and trams, and there is also an airport bus stop right nearby, which made getting around extremely easy. The apartment was very clean and everything smelled fresh and lovely. It was fully equipped and we really didn’t miss anything. Check-in and check-out were both completely hassle-free, and communication with the host was excellent — in fact, we never needed to contact him during our stay. I would also like to mention the building, as I noticed that several guests have commented negatively about it. I agree that the first impression when entering the staircase can be a little… scary! 😄 However, it is actually a beautiful old building with strong artistic character, impressive sculpted facades and beautiful murals in the entrance. The staircase itself feels a little like a scene from a thriller — but personally, I found it more interesting than disturbing, and I think it is part of the character and history of the building.

There are just two small things worth mentioning. The towels and bed linen were in various colours, which personally made it difficult for me to judge their cleanliness. In fact, there were visible traces of makeup on one of the face towels. Also, each guest was provided with one large bath towel and one very small face towel. As the face towel was too small to use for my hair after washing it, I ended up using an extra towel belonging to another guest. Overall, though, this is a very well-equipped apartment in an excellent location, with everything well organised. I would definitely choose to stay here again when visiting Budapest.

L'appartement est agréable et conforme à la description. En revanche, nous avons rencontré plusieurs problèmes lors de notre séjour.

Tout d'abord, le code d'accès fourni n'était pas le bon. Nous avons donc dû attendre qu'une personne vienne nous ouvrir. Ensuite, nous avons eu des difficultés à comprendre le fonctionnement de la deuxième porte. Malgré plusieurs tentatives pour contacter le propriétaire ou l'assistance, nous n'avons obtenu aucune réponse. Nous avons finalement réussi à entrer après environ 45 minutes. Le plus problématique est survenu le soir. À notre retour, vers 23 h, l'accès à l'appartement avait été bloqué, car nos passeports n'auraient, selon eux, pas été transmis. Pourtant, le séjour était bien réglé et nous pensions que toutes les formalités avaient été validées avant notre départ en Hongrie. Nous avons réellement craint de passer la nuit dehors. À mon sens, il serait préférable de vérifier que tous les documents nécessaires (comme les passeports) sont bien reçus et validés avant l'arrivée des voyageurs. En vacances, je ne consulte pas mes e-mails et je ne réponds pas forcément au téléphone, il est donc difficile de gérer ce type de situation à distance. C'est dommage, car l'appartement est bien, mais ces difficultés d'accès ont malheureusement terni notre expérience.

La ubicación está muy bien pero lo que es el acceso al portal y a la planta fatal nos pegamos una buena detección nada más llegar muy sucio el portal la planta y todo muy viejo aunque por dentro estaba bien. El acceso con la clave es un poco complicado Y tienes que dejarlo antes de las 10 de la mañana!
