Villaggio Homey

True, the standard of hospitality in this neck of the woods is pretty high, but the Villaggio must be almost impossible to beat in this price-class. Spotlessly clean, accommodatingly comfortable, a breakfast of champions, and a warm and generous host who will happily make recommendations and arrangements if needs be. Would we be back? In a heartbeat.

J'ai passé un excellent séjour à Villaggio Homey. Appu n'était pas présent lors de mon passage, mais il est resté en contact avec moi tous les jours pour s'assurer que j'avais tout ce dont j'avais besoin. Ses parents étaient là et c'est sa maman qui cuisine :-). La chambre est grande et très confortable. Il y a une petite terrasse pour prendre les repas et des hamacs pour se reposer. J'ai adoré Munroe Island, c'est si reposant... :-)

I stayed at Villagio with my sister right after Christmas 2025. And I must say that it was the most peaceful stay of our entire Kerala trip that time. The location is easily accessible by tuk tuks (autorickshaws) from the railway station. Appu was a wonderful host. He took care of everything during our stay. Oh and the home cooked food was delicious! His suggestions on visiting places were also very helpful. The highlight of our stay was the early morning sunrise canoe ride that he arranged for us. It was a really memorable experience. We also miss Gliffy very much. Over all a wonderful peaceful stay. Would definitely stay here if I'm visiting Muroe, this hidden gem of a place again.

None
