It was a quiet place to stay for a day with friends. The room arrangement was adequate and made it easy to manage our stay comfortably. The host was very supportive.
The location did not meet our expectations, and reaching the property without Google Maps would be quite difficult. The access road to the property is very narrow, making it challenging to drive, especially during the rainy season.

Best homestay I've ever been in! The hosts were warm and welcoming, the room was comfortable and super clean, and the food was amazing. The host family has their own boats if you're interested in an excursion around the nearby Ashtamudi Lake. Great value for money and would definitely recommend!
The location is a bit remote, but this wasn't a concern as we had a car. If you don't have a personal vehicle, you might need to plan food and transportation in advance.

Munroe island was heaven on Earth! Unni and his family were so welcoming and kind. You could tell the family were happy to share their way of living with us- the food was incredibly tasty (the best we had in Kerala) and the tours in the backwaters were beautiful. If you do visit, please be respectful of the island life and keep it clean, use filtered water etc! It was nice that it was not touristy and the nature was outstanding.

It is just a fantastic place, where you can take a rest and enjoy doing a little less.
There is great food, they make a point of changing it up so you don't eat the same thing twice.
