Munroe Heritage Inn

Nous avons habité avec Suresh et sa famille pendant 3 jours (notre 1er arrêt en Inde). Nous avons loué les 2 chambres, très propres et très fonctionnelles! Nous avons pris les petits déjeuner (version Kerala) et les dîners ici, du « homemade » par la femme de Suresh. Il y a aussi un restaurant excellent et pas très cher juste à côté. Suresh nous a proposé un tour en bateau de 3 heures dans les mangrove de Munroe Island (1500 rupees) et un autre jour un Tuktuk pour faire le tour de l’île. Bref, vous passerez ici c’est sur un séjour très immersif et vraiment « comme à la maison ». Nos filles de 16 et 13 ans ont adoré cette expérience.

Rien, si vous voulez rester longtemps c’est bien d’avoir un moyen de transport (scooter/ voiture)

This is a truly special place with impeccable hospitality with the host taking very very good care of my family and I. The breakfast was delicious every morning and he's very attentive and considerate making sure you're enjoying yourself and giving extremely generous portions. Our rooms were clean and nice and spacious. The property is also very close to the water and we were able to swim in the water and it was very clean and refreshing. Our host organised so much for us to do on the island like a backwaters canoe ride and driving us on tours of the island on his motorbike. He's a genuinely lovely person and really makes the stay special. I especially feel bad as we arrived right after someone left a bad review and bad score without even staying at the property (cancelling the booking) bringing his overall score down unjustly. Overall, if u want amazing hospitality and location and mostly to be able to relax, I can't recommend this place enough.

What a place! Stunning location right in the river. Beautiful greenery and vibrant plants on the property. The room is perfect. New, spacious, clean, comfortable. And suresh and his wife are fantastic hosts! So so lovely and friendly and helpful. We didn’t arrive until about 1am but Suresh was up and waiting for us and wanted to feed us! The food is delicious as well. Lovely home cooked, local food. And so much of it!! Perfect Homestay.

Lovely family run homestay. Great size room, good AC and delicious breakfast and dinners available! Definitely recommend staying here.
