Villa La Lomada in Playa Blanca

Beautiful villa with exceptional facilities and only 20min leisurely walk to town

What wasn’t good, bit outside space and pool area was fab

Good location if you like it a bit out of the way. Only 20 minutes walk to the marina. Really well equipped and some essentials left for us. Supermarket was a 5 min walk. Would definitely stay here again. Plenty of space for us all (6)

Nothing to not like about this place.

It was much bigger than we thought it would be, it was very modern and homely. It was well equipped with everything we needed for our family of 6, there was buckets and spades, lilos, oil and salt to cook with and good quality appliances. We found the washing machine really helpful too so could pack light. The pool was fabulous. There was a table tennis table and mini pool/games table. The host was very accommodating and there was even some bread, cheese, ham and milk when we arrived which was much appreciated as we didn’t land till later on. The views were fabulous at the back and very peaceful. It was a 1 mile walk to the main beach and 5 mins to Aldi.

I have been renting villa's in playa blanca for many years and we rented villa this for 3 weeks for a big birthday surprise for my wife The villa cleanliness was disappointing had stain sheets on the beds, pillows stained and dirty couch was stained we had to put blankets over it, high stools in the kitchen area very tatty. main bedroom downstairs had paint and plaster falling off the walls. the bathroom down stairs horrible smell coming from the drain . then showers upstairs started to over flow out on to floor. I had to unblock the two shower drains didn't look like the had been cleaned in along time . the master shower handle came off in your hand . my wife swept the kitchen on arrival she found toe nail clipping in the kitchen .then stairs down to the other bedroom has no hand rail so found this to very dangerous . no instruction on how to operate the oven washing machine dishwasher or microwave. the oven door opened out nearly touching to counter so you could operate or work on anything with the door open. no welcome book for any local information. the pool was dirty on arrival and was only cleaned once more in the three weeks . did contact the host about the sheets and more towels and she arrived over with sheets and left them on the bed and we had to dress them ourselves which found this strange . as any other villa I stayed in. they called and replaced them and generally cleaned the villa but we where told that's what the washing machine was there for . for the cost of this villa for 3weeks I expected a lot better . I could have spent my whole time contacting the host to fix things but we didn't go on holidays for this so we just grind and bear it . and I do have pictures to prove. there was a lot of working going on around the area so constant noise and dogs barking.
