Villa Alba

There were only two of us so we stayed on the ground floor level. Lovely villa, very comfortable. Air con available to use. Very quiet and a great place to take a holiday and chill out.

The air con in the lounge area isn’t strong enough to cool that space as it is too open. In all fairness we’d seen some picky reviews, but this was an excellent place to stay and we had a relaxing holiday.

Location was very good, we had stayed in this area before. Very quiet and comfortable. It was a bonus to have a heated pool which was very welcome to come back to after a hot day out and about. A sun parasol would have been good. We had to pull the sun beds into the shade of the villa.

There were one or two issues such as the two wash basin plugs did not fit and water soon escaped. There was a small amount of plaster falling and cracked in the second bedroom. This was not a problem for us as we only used the main bedroom. Two electrical sockets in both bedrooms seemed to be slightly damaged, so we didnt use them. Little things that need to be put right.

Good location in our preferred area. Booking agents were very Responsive when messaged.

A little tired but had everything we required and more

Location was really good, staff responded very quickly, but there was some issues not resolved. By maintenance etc.

Had a lot of cocheroches in lower ground floor bathroom, they came and sprayed the next day but they still were in the bathoom, and we had to buy our own killer spray, and had to move beds upstairs, for the children, as we didn't want them sleeping down stairs were the cocheroches were. the pool water was very cloudy, we did report it, and was informed it is checked every few days, but always seemed to be done when we were out !.so cannot confirm it was ever done, there was no obvious smell of chlorine, which is usually the case if treated, and on the wall was a board that stated water checked information, and this was never filled in by those who are supposedly checking and treating the pool!!. Air conditioning broke down, and maintenance called and stated repaired, but broke again 15 minutes after they left on 2 occasions, so in the upper bedrooms it was really uncomfortable, then an air-conditioning engineer turned up and told us the main unit on the roof had stopped working, and needed replacing, we informed the office, and they said they never sent the engineer?. So for 4 of the last days of our holiday we had no air-conditioning. There was a water leak in one of the upper floor bathrooms, which appeared to have been leaking for a long time, as all the base of the cupboard had rotted, we reported it and maintenance attended and isolated the sink, and said would be back to repair, then we were informed it would be done after we have left the villa which was.5 days later!. We informed the office that the beds had not been changed, after the house keeping had called, and were told they had been, we still disputed this, as the pillow covers were still marked in the same way as they were before, even though we were informed they had been changed..?.
