Apartment Econte near old town

Location was great! Quiet, peaceful apartment. I did get confused between the two rooms when booking (looked at the pictures of the bigger room), so I was expecting something bigger. But, I also realised that the smaller room is the only one with twin beds (which we preferred), so not really a negative. It is kitted out really well, and the owners' really did the most with the small space!

I do think it's a bit small for 2 people, but ideal for 1 person!

The location was great. Easy to get around on foot. The check in system was very easy to use.

Unfortunately the photos and description were misleading as I thought I was booking the room with a double bed and washing machine. We ended up staying in the room with the bunk beds and no washing machine.

Prachtig appartement op een goede locatie, op loopafstand van het centrum. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Faciliteiten zijn voortreffelijk!

Tijdens je boeking wordt beschreven dat het bedrag dat je gaat betalen inclusief alle servicekosten en belastingen is. Dat is niet het geval. Ook maakt de accommodatie gebruik van een externe applicatie voor het inchecken. Daar worden ineens belasting en servicekosten gerekend. Die zou je volgens booking.com al betaald hebben. Ook willen ze een borg (150 euro) die geenszins in verhouding staat tot het betaalde bedrag. Die borg kun je afkopen tegen betaling van 30 euro. Die ben je dan kwijt. Die borg? Die krijg je, als de beheerder akkoord is, vast wel terug. Dat kan wel tot 14 werkdagen duren..

Well located, clean

Mandatory to download an app for check-in. Main door is always open, which feels somewhat unsafe since our room door was right next to it. Smelled strongly of cigarettes in the hallway. Room is very small, with the toilet essentially behind a glass divider one step away from the bunk beds.
