Morning Coffee

With car space and only a few minutes by car to Ljubljana center, this was a good place to base oneself. The size of the room was just right and even of the bathroom was more than comfortable. Well recommended!

We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place for a short visit to Ljubljana. The location is very convenient—outside the city center, about a 10–15 minute drive away. If you don’t have a car, Uber is inexpensive and makes getting around very easy. The house was clean, and Zlatko, the host, was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. We really appreciated his hospitality and local recommendations. Even though breakfast was not included in our booking, he treated us to coffee and croissants in the morning, which was a lovely gesture. The room and the property were clean and well maintained.

From the Booking description, we had not realized that we were reserving just one room in a larger private house, with other guests staying in separate rooms and sharing the same bathroom and toilet facilities. Perhaps we overlooked this detail, but we did not find it clearly communicated when making the reservation. The room itself was also very small. For one night, this was perfectly manageable, but for a longer stay—or for two people with luggage—it could feel quite cramped. As long as you are aware that the room is compact and that the bathroom facilities are shared, it represents very good value, particularly for a short stay.

Nice suburban house, close to the city centre. Friendly host, who is nearby and happy to answer questions about travelling around etc. Comfortable beds.

It was all fine.

Perfect for a couple of days if you have a car or are happy to walk about. The host was helpful and hospitable. Excellent parking if you have a car. Lovely coffee and croissant in the mornings.

The room was quite compact and entry was via the host’s home.
