The Vacation Home
The "Nele" vacation home in Geeste warmly welcomes you. We wish you a restful and relaxing vacation in Geeste.
It is a beautiful vacation home in an idyllic setting. It’s ideal for relaxing or going on beautiful bike rides.
It’s only about a six-minute walk to the Geeste Reservoir. There’s always something going on there, without it ever feeling crowded. An 800-meter sandy beach invites you to sunbathe and swim. A sailing area with moorings, a diving center, and surfing spots are perfect for water sports enthusiasts. The restaurants by the lake offer plenty of space and culinary delights for much-needed breaks. The beautiful natural landscape of the Ems is just as easily accessible. Canoeists will find wonderful paddling areas. Recreational boaters can take advantage of the nearby Dortmund-Ems Canal, which features a marina for recreational boats. The vacation home is particularly well-suited as a starting point for both short and extended bike tours and hikes. With its numerous marked trails, the Emsland region is a true paradise for cycling tourists. The Emsland Route and the Ems Bike Path practically run right past the house. Meppen, Lingen, and Nordhorn—with their historic city centers and attractive downtown areas—are easily accessible and perfect for a leisurely stroll. Nearby you’ll find horseback riding stables, a golf course, museums (including the Moormuseum), and a fishing pond just 50 meters from the house. The Schloß Dankern vacation park, with its numerous recreational facilities for younger guests, is also not far away.
All rooms are spacious, beautifully furnished, and offer plenty of room with a living area of 105 square meters.
On the first floor is a “master bedroom” with a double bed, two radio alarm clocks, a solid-wood wardrobe, and a chair that doubles as a place to lay out clothes.
The utility room contains a washing machine, dryer, vacuum cleaner, and an ironing board and iron.
The bathroom is tiled to the ceiling with high-quality tiles and features a walk-in wellness shower (90 x 120 cm) and all the accessories, such as a cosmetic mirror, hair dryer, etc.
In the living room, you’ll find everything you’re used to in your own living room, including an LCD TV, DVD player, stereo system, etc.
The open, high-quality, fully equipped built-in kitchen with a dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, etc., is perfect for cooking.
The living room leads out to the patio, which is furnished with seating, a patio umbrella, and a grill.
Upstairs, there are two additional bedrooms—one of which also features a TV and a double bed, while the other has two single beds with nightstands and a small wardrobe.
You’ll also find a guest restroom there.
The adjacent lockable storage room contains 2 bicycles (included in the rent) and a grill.
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the house.
All windows are equipped with roller shutters.
