We stayed as a group of 11 for three nights. When booking, I assumed the duplex units would be connected internally but they aren’t, so you need to go outside to move between them. This wasn’t a huge issue but made things a little difficult to coordinate meals and group activities. That’s on me for not checking with the host beforehand. When we arrived, the rental could have been a bit cleaner—minor things like dirty floors and coffee grounds that were left in the coffee maker from a previous guest. We did not have enough hand towels for our 3 night stay having 6 people in one bathroom (there was only 1 hand towel) so that was also a negative. For the most part, everyone slept well and the AC units kept us cool and comfortable. I will mention that the room with two beds on the Unsalted side had very squeaky frames, making our nights somewhat disruptive. On a positive note, Cindy was fantastic—very responsive and quick to resolve any issues during our stay. The location itself was also excellent and worked for the activities we had planned. The yard worked perfectly for my dog and there was plenty of room for parking with the 5 vehicles we had. I have shared a list of some improvements with the host for future guests, hence the room for improvement title. This VRBO definitely has potential to be a 5 star rental.
