Bean Lake is a fully recreational 100 acre lake that has a max depth of 35 feet. The boat launch is just a ½ mile away for easy access to launch your boat. Bean Lake has an abundance of fish including panfish, pike, walleye and largemouth bass. Whether you are looking to take out the kids on the tubes or just looking to take a stroll around the shore Bean Lake has you covered.

Sunshine Lane Lodge is a large, lovely cabin in a beautiful and quiet Northwoods setting on Bean Lake. We were a group of 5 friends in our seventies. The cabin was impeccably and appropriately decorated for the setting. Also, the owner included so many thoughtful amenities, such as new toothbrushes, individual shampoo tubes, etc. The kitchen was fabulous, with all new large and small appliances, dishes, cooking utensils, storage containers. Beds were so comfortable! We loved the view of the lake from the huge windows in the living room and the screened-in porch. (Soap bars and a toilet bowl cleaner were needed though.)The outdoor areas were also well thought out, with Adirondack chairs around the fire pit, acorn hole game, seating facing the lake for enjoying the scenery, a table and chairs on a patio and on the large wraparound deck, a dock, kayaks, a float in the lake, a dock, and more. Lawn and gardens were well maintained and decorated.Things a potential renter should know: The scatter rugs on the beautiful floors were slipping. We ended up rolling them up and putting them away for the duration of our stay because we did not want to fall.As two of us have mobility issues, we were disappointed that the two sets of stairs did not have hand rails. My husband, who had a stroke years ago, had to walk backwards down the stairs, which was very dangerous for him. I had asked about safety issues prior to renting and was assured that we would have no problems. Sadly, we did.

Our stay at Sunshine Lane was truly amazing! It is a beautiful property and delighted us at every turn. It was very clean and well appointed. We enjoyed the kitchen and the many hangout areas both inside and outside. Beds were comfy. The manager Justin was responsive, kind, and very good at communicating. We hope to return!!

This place is absolutely beautiful! Everything about it was perfect to booking it to communicating with the property manager to the cleanliness of the house and the property. Truly an amazing experience and will definitely be keeping this place in mind for future rentals, highly highly recommend!
