Gioi Hotel

Gioi Hotel is a beautiful new boutique property with incredible attention to detail. Giorgio was the perfect host — personable, accommodating, and genuinely invested in making our stay flawless. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, and we loved having coffee and water available 24/7. The location couldn’t be better — just a 5-minute walk to the train station and surrounded by great restaurants. A truly exceptional stay — highly recommended!

There’s not enough good I can say about the staff the host Giorgio very hands-on and very helpful. Wanted to take care of the guest did anything extra we needed wanted. Virginia again well maintained she kept the area clean. It was very clean and Ilaria. She was the breakfast cook and every morning we had a fantastic breakfast. We got to try some fruits that were not around at America’s. I would give us a six star rating. It was excellent service. Excellent cleanliness excellent everything so if you want a place to stay out of the way, very quaint small hotel well priced you’d like to go there.

Highly recommended! From the moment we arrived, the owner Gio was incredibly welcoming and greeted us as if we were guests in his own home. Throughout our stay he was always available to ensure everything was perfect and to share helpful tips about getting around the area. The hotel is thoughtfully maintained with great attention to detail, from excellent air conditioning to strong water pressure. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and the breakfast was both delicious and satisfying. Parking was safe and convenient, which made our trip even easier. During our stay we drove to Positano and also took the train to Pompeii, which is only a short walk from the property. We would absolutely choose to stay with Gio again when visiting the Amalfi Coast!

I visited in May 2026 for 3 nights and had a really lovely time. The hotel was clean and quiet, the bed big and comfortable and I had a nice little view into the garden with doors I could open. The breakfast started from 7am, however they were very happy to accommodate me to have it earlier if I wanted. The room also had free water in the fridge and air conditioning. It also felt very secure as you need the room key card in order to get into the hotel as it’s gated from the street. The hotel is in a very good location - about a 5 minute walk from the train station (with trains that can take you to Sorrento for about 3 euros), there’s a supermarket about a 3 minute walk away and the town square is about 5 minutes away. You can also park your car in a very secure space right next to the hotel (you get a key fob to open the gate with). This is at an additional charge. The owner of the hotel, Giorgio, was very kind and helped me get settled. He sent me links to the best restaurants in both Piano as well as Sorrento and Positano. I told him I wanted to eat pizza for dinner and he insisted that I visit Pizzeria 49 - and I’m glad I did. It was the best pizza I’ve had in my life AND it was only a 10 minute walk from the hotel. This really is a great hotel to stay in as it’s not insanely expensive like if you were staying in Sorrento or in the other Amalfi Coast towns and you can also have your car in a safe space whilst you explore the other towns. Overall a great experience 🙌🙌
