Breakfast was great, as was the pool and peaceful surrounding garden, and location to the local beach and beach bars! Fantastic!

The suite was great for our small family and the pool was fun! We appreciated the welcome drinks and the breakfast, too. We liked the location - and how close it was to the beach - an easy walk. It was a nice little spot. They also allowed us a late check out, which was thoughtful - and helped us to get a taxi - and let us sit in a side lounge area while we waited for our taxi.

The attitude of the morning staff wasn't altogether pleasant. When we were checking out they were overly concerned about the amount of luggage we had, its placement, and they weren't willing to store to for us for a few hours - although the night before they'd said that they would be able to do that. They explained they didn't have enough space, but it seemed like a strange problem. I understand that we had more luggage than some travelers, but it wasn't very helpful and their attitude was also unpleasant.

Lucia on reception was lovely, the grounds were pretty and the pool looked inviting (excepy for the awful fake grass around it), but exceptionally high winds meant we couldn't swim in it. Only ten minutes from beautiful Tarifa for dinner.

Breakfast wasn't great - a buffet didn't feel safe in Covid times, especially with guests expected to slice their own bread from the same loaf. Rolls were hard, and there was little variety. The fake grass around the pool is horrible, the fountain near the entrance is full of grey water and needs mending and we were disappointed that we booked a 'double or twin room' and asked for a double but got a twin (and were told doubles were at extra cost). The bathroom could have been cleaner - the door was dirty. Both nights were disturbed by loud guests returning to their rooms in the middle of the night. Good for surfers because of the nearby beach but not so much for a romantic break. We had only 37% fun.
