Very convenient for the airport. Our flight got in very late, and we were able to self check-in after midnight.
Quiet location, although could hear flights landing and taking off after 6 am.
The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good.
Comfortable bed.
Because the property is so close to the airport, you can hear flights landing and taking off.
The taxi back to the airport was more expensive than advertised (sign said 15 euros, charged 20 euros). Not the fault of the property, but they do need to update their signage.

Affordable option close to the airport (impossible to reach on foot though due to hilly nature). Included breakfast was simple but good. The view from the breakfast restaurant is amazing. Beds were comfy.
A huge benefit was the self check -in as I had a late arrival at the airport
Lighting could be more atmospheric (bright white hospital lights, but seems to be a staple in many accommodations on Madeira).

The view from the terrace where we had breakfast was great. Also, the self check-in was easy and convenient.
The location is close to the airport but if it is your first time in Madeira (it was mine), you don’t want to stay there. There is nowhere to park and the roads up are very twisty.
