Poseidon Hotel

Modern room, great soundproofing, real! Coffee, & fresh orange juice for breakfast, kind staff, great view to the sea

Slow wifi, 10/10mbit

The Poseidon Hotel had such a welcoming vibe. Situated opposite the beach with sun beds on the beach we were made at home straight away with friendly staff. Cafe on the ground floor where we were offered hearty breakfasts during our 5 night stay and the option to have lunch or dinner which we had twice. The room was sea facing with a glass balcony (photos attached) adequately spacious and good provision. Interactive TV with facility to log into Netflix and Amazon prime during two days of storms. We could not fault it for being sufficiently central and only a 10 minute walk to the old part of town.

My big gripe in hotel rooms is when shower heads are fixed and too high. Most women don't wash their hair every day and a fixed showerhead doesn't allow for you to lower the shower to only do a body wash. Everything else was perfect.

Excellent value for money, a great location, and a beautiful sea view from the room. The host was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and helpful. Everything was wonderful, and we truly enjoyed our stay!

The only downside was that quite a bit of water leaked onto the floor from under the shower door and around the toilet.

Great service and great stay.

Car park is difficult especially during July and August.
