The Apartment is very well renovated with a new kitchen and bathroom. Same for the bedroom. We liked to come back after our sightseeing tours. A good starting point to visit John o'Groats and Castle of Mey.
It was a little noisy in the evening because of some guys who like the noise of their cars but that was gone after a while. In general we had a nice sleep.

A spacious and comfortable apartment. The building is old but the apartment is clean and newly decorated. A short walk to the beach and convenient for the town. A good location for exploring John o' Groats.
A mirror in the bedroom or entrance would have been nice and I should have appreciated some tea bags in the kitchen. The apartment is in the middle of the town so there were no views other than onto the street.

Modern, recently renovated and spotlessly clean. The apartment is in the centre of Thurso with parking outside and it is within a few minutes drive from the Scrabster ferry to Orkney. There is a Lidl supermarket on the road to and from the ferry if you are self catering.
