The Axbridge Hideaway

Goede ligging en een prachtig ingericht vakantieverblijf, met een mooie tuin.

De toegang tot de parkeerplaats is wat smal.

We had a lovely stay. The property was clean and spacious, with a lovely large garden which gets the sun most of the day. The entrance into the property was a little tricky, we drove past it the first time as it is slightly set back. Axbridge is a lovely little place, we went to the Lamb Inn for dinner twice, but also cooked a couple of times at the property. There is a small Co-op in Axbridge and a larger (but still small) Sainsbury's in Cheddar. The location was perfect for us, we visited Bath, Wells and Weston Super Mare, however there was so much more we could have done, but we only stayed for a short week. We also walked around Cheddar reservoir which is only a short walk away and takes about 45-60mins to walk around. The hosts Sarah & Rob were lovely and answered our enquiries promptly.

The house is within easy walking distance of the village centre, and pub. The large garden has plenty of seating and the kitchen has doors opening straight on to the patio, which we made use of in the hot weather,

As the house is named rather than having a number we found it difficult to find on arrival. It would be useful to provide an accurate location, maybe using the 'What Three Words' app.

Lovely property in nice surroundings lots of room and very clean. Well equipped and very comfortable.

A small wardrobe in the twin room would be an improvement, especially for people staying a week or more. Just one thing to be aware of the entrance arch is quite tight with kink part way through, but I managed to get Kia Sportage through with care.
