Great old house and lovely gardens. Big bedrooms with ensuites. Great authentic charm. 20min drive to Port
Let me start by saying the owner and his employees were very attentive and quick to help us. But there were a few things not up to standard. 1. A fuse blew and we were without internet, cooking facilities and dishwasher. 2. Water pressure terrible and took ages to heat up. 3. There is no lounge room. The only seating is in the kitchen at the table. No where to relax after a long day site seeing 4. The washing machine extremely old and not working 5. Although they have an onsite car park, it is extremely dangerous to get in and out from. We would open the gates and then stand on road and stop traffic to get out. So, so scary. 6. Although the house looks quiet and rural, it is still right on the curve of a very busy main road with lots of cars and buses passing buy tooting thier horns on the corner to warn on coming traffic. Very noisy and goes on into the night.

The villa is all about the details, with every piece chosen to add to its unique vibe. You can chill out in the big garden, which has a grill setup that’s just right for hanging out with friends or family. It’s tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, making it a perfect spot to relax.
The neighbourhood is usually quiet, but every once in a while, bus honking can break the peace for a bit. Also, just a heads up that the water pressure in the showers can be kind of hit or miss at times, which might make showering a little tricky.

Easily accessible from the highway. It was very spacious and comfy, it really made us feel like living the sweet old italian life. The bedrooms were spotless. We really enjoyed the garden and the antique objects from around the house. The host responded quickly to our request and helped us with our need. The kitchen is well equiped and very chic.
The cleaning tax and electricity could only be paid with cash 🧐. Also parking could be a little bit hard but is not something that will bother you too much.

The house was old and quaint, but lacked a few amenities that most provide.
A 'proper' coffee machine would have been nice with a few 'pods' to help the arrival. No washing up sponges or tea towels. Just a few of the things that help when you first arrive and before you go to a supermarket. Very cold inside and sheets felt damp. Plumbing - water went hot and cold, not good in the shower. Wardrobes only suitable for a tall person. Worst of all was the access. Gates and entrance directly on a bend with extremely poor visibility. A convex mirror opposite would have helped but still would have been 'dodgy'. This was quite dangerous and should have been mentioned in the property detail. Once inside the gates, no where to turn round to go out. Traffic using the road outside use the horn quite a bit when negotiating the sharp bend.
