Residenza della Riva Blu

First impression; smelt lovely & was very clean. 2nd the pictures on-line were probably taken when the apt was used as a home! Positives: - Walking distance to sea, cafe & supermarket (5 mins), usable beach & the town (30 mins). More beaches less than 10 mins drive from Porto Cesareo. - Beds are very comfortable. - good shower. - good washing machine. Apart from the doors, (from the bedroom onto the street and the apt door into hall), there are 3 windows that all open onto the inner 'courtyard'; these are from the sitting area, 1st bedroom and bathroom. There is a terrace on the 2nd floor and you can see the sea. I'm sure the property is ideal when the weather is hot but at the beginning of May it was freezing. There is an a/c unit but that is in the furthest room from all others and there is an inner 'courtyard' in the middle. Giovanni was extremely helpful. He bought blankets and other items we requested, and then a heater a few days later, which all made a big difference. For the people who have booked after us, we've left you salt, coffee, tea bags, garlic! hand soap, kitchen roll, at least 2 toilet rolls & washing up liquid; just to get you started 😉 happy hols 😎

Downsides: - unable to hang dresses in wardrobe or open bathroom window as no 'poles' - kitchen lacks basic items ie chopping board, cereal bowls, peeling & chopping knife, - No privacy in seating area, needs curtain on door window. - some comfortable seating would have been nice. - no toiletries, apart from 1 toilet roll. - no shower mat. - lack of pegs! - no iron, but there is an ironing board! I feel sure Giovanni will address these issues.
