"Very comfortable home. We were staying in the area to visit family over Christmas. Found the house warm and comfortable. We did appreciate the Christmas decorations and treats left for us."

Small but beautiful garden. Very much appreciated the afternoon/evening shade on some very hot days. The house is spotlessly clean with comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen with proper cooking facilities, breakfast bar and dining table. Comfortable sitting room with a proper TV. Doubles doors out of the kitchen and sitting room into the garden make the house beautifully light and airy. Local Co-Op only 5 mins down the road was very convenient. Easy access to A39 and Falmouth town centre. Interesting pictures, ornaments and furniture make the house feel homely unlike the usual, rather sterile, rental properties. Had fun finding the "secret" garden.. though a seat up there would be nice.
Only slight complaint was the lack of a proper handrail on the stairs. OK for the young and fit but, although we managed, we found the stairs a little tricky as I have some mobility problems and my 92 year-old mother is rather frail. My room (at the back of the house) was lovely but would be very cramped for two people. I ended up parking on the road (which was easy) as the drive is very steep and I didn't want to rely on leaving the car in gear to stop it rolling into the house. The house is on a very ordinary suburban estate with no view but there's a lovely woodland at the bottom of the hill (only a few minutes walk away) if you want to stretch your legs/walk the dog etc.

We had a very comfortable stay — the house has a lovely ‘by the beach’ feel and ambience, and the beds were really comfortable. The hosts were very kind and welcoming. The kitchen had everything you could need. The BBq was great and it was nice to have the coals supplied. Nice to find tea, coffee etc in the cupboard too.
A couple of small things to be aware of: the glass table top in the living area isn’t fixed down, so it moved when brushed past, especially when using the patio doors. Also, there’s a low slope under the stairs in the middle of the room, which is easy to bump your head on. It would also be helpful to have clear instructions on how to lock and unlock the doors, and a tiny ramp at the patio steps would make them easier to navigate. None of this spoiled our stay — just suggestions that might make things even better for future guests.”

It had a lovely kitchen, with good selection of basics …tea, coffee, salt, vinegar etc. The garden was lovely, very sunny and relaxing.
The property smelt of damp as soon as we walked in, it was actually quite strong. As lovely as the kitchen and garden were the sitting room whilst looked nice the stair case in the middle was a bit of hazard - nearly knocked my head a few times. The bath was chipped and the shower had hardly any power, one of the bedrooms was quite tight for space generally the rest of the house seemed tired and in need of some TLC for example loose handles, rusting/chipped radiators. Overall it was fine but not what I would call 4 star (more 3, 3.5 at a push) which was what I was expecting.

The property location is superb the property is large and well equipped.
There should have been some periodic cleaning since we stayed for over 11 days. We had to request for change of linens on the 7th day. Most of the things were left to us to manage including disposing off the left out garbage of the previous clients. The property doesn’t have a dishwasher which makes it difficult to manage especially if you travelling with infants.
