Nice apartment but not a great experience
The appartment was clean. The contact person was very friendly. We experienced surly staff in restaurants, but the contact person was a nice exception. The apartment is really close to the old town.
The towels had a bad smell. The smell stuck to the skin after using the towels. Only one roll of toilet paper for two persons for 3 days. All communication in German, even though my German is really poor. Upon arrival we discovered I booked the two person apartment for only one person due to an error in the booking process. Before receiving the keys, I had to pay three times the amount that is charged via Booking.com to add another person. This feels like a scam as they did not have to make any changes to the apartment.

Super Aufenthalt, wären gerne noch geblieben
gut ausgestattetes Appartement, alles liebevoll eingerichtet; es gibt Tee & Kaffee fürs Frühstück; netter Herr, der sich um alles kümmert; gute Lage, alles fußläufig erreichbar; entspannter Check-Out bis 11 Uhr; waren mit dem Fahrrad da, diese konnten wir im Haus abstellen; Monschau an sich ist auch auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert
evt. wäre eine Schlüsselbox für Gäste mit unbestimmter Ankunftszeit zum Check-in hilfreich, aber es funktioniert auch, so wie es jetzt geregelt ist, gut soweit

Ruhig gelegen und einfach eingerichtet.
Es fehlte ein Duschfußtuch. Aber wenn das alles ist, gibt’s wirklich nichts zu meckern.
