Mooi rustig dorpje en op 15 min van Monschau Altstad. 5 min met auto naar restaurant Molkerei. Het huisje is van alles voorzien. Parkeren voor de deur. Goede wifi Vriendelijke host.

De douche deuren waren bij vorige gebruikers gedeeltelijk kapot, gingen niet meer goed open en dicht waardoor je erin moest maneuvreren. Keuken wat gedateerd, maar alles aanwezig.

Wat een geweldige accommodatie is dit. Je hebt veel ruimte en privacy op een hele mooie locatie. De gastvrouw en heer zijn hele vriendelijke mensen en de paar puntjes die wij aankaarten voor verbetering werden ter harte genomen en een daarvan gelijk uitgevoerd. Ook gezellig gebabbeld met de heer des huizes.

De locatie en de ruimte in het appartement

We loved the house and location. Very peaceful, green and conveniently located to visit all the places that we needed to go to. The hosts Danny and Willi are brilliant. They are the kindest, most helpful, generous hosts I have had the pleasure to know in from all the homes we have stayed in. Danny left us a delicious bottle of wine which was so appreciated, treats, towel and bowls for my dog which made me love them more. The living room and dining room are homely and comfortable. They allowed us to wander through their entire garden although a lot of it was not included in our booking, we visited their beautiful horses everyday and my dog played with their very well behaved English Setter dog every day. On one occasion, there was a water supply issue in the entire region but Danny brought us water for our use so we weren't inconvenienced. If you are looking for a quiet holiday with lots of hiking and nature trails, this is the holiday for you. As it is located in the Eifel forest region, it was a lot cooler than than the UK so it was a welcome relief from the heat we had here. There are supermarkets and restaurants within a 15 minute drive. There are a few fields nearby to walk the dogs as well as a vet which Danny arranged for me in nearby Simmerath for tapeworm treatment for the dog's return trip to the UK. My family and particularly my dog had a holiday to remember.

It was all good. They opened up their lovely home to us and we enjoyed our stay very much. The location is close to Belgium and the Netherlands, so a quick trip to both countries is doable.
