Nice place, beware:15€ fee per person plus 10am check out

Wonderful place very well located near Monschau and very well equipped. Perfect place for a family looking for accommodation near Hautes Fagnes.

Linen fee of 15€ per person, no coffee nor tea available. We would have liked to be offered a rate linen included since this was announced after we confirmed the reservation and when you are a family of 5 it has an impact on the budget. The owner clearly requested to vacate the place by 1000am so when with a family meaning you have to wake up very early to prepare have breakfast and shower so not that nice.

Excellent stay in a high quality place

Very well equipped and in perfect condition. Positioned right on some hiking trails. For a family it proved very spacious, exactly what we needed. Free parking spot right in front of the house. Nice neighborhood, well connected, with a small shop at 2-300m.

Property was good but that laundry fee is like a setup. It should be integrated to booking system as an extra service. S

It was very clean and well equipped.

Property mentioned that there will be a fee for laundry. I did a reservation in the morning of stay date. Check-in time was at 15:00. And they sent me a message at 14:50 that I need to pay €15/person for laundry. I was shocked about the price but since it was a holiday I said OK. But if they have informed me immediately after the reservation (or include this detail), I could bring my own stuff. I felt like it was a setup to get extra money. And, during the checkout, they requested the money as cash, but I wanted to make with via bank transfer or card payment (officially registered way). And they said it was not possible and insist for cash although it was clearly mentioned in the confirmation email that ‘cash is not accepted’. I had to contact with Booking.com, and the property sent me a personal bank account (after many messages) and I sent the laundry fee.

Top Quality, Private Parking Space, Quiet Location Close To Simmerath

The apartment is very new and located in a lovely home in a really nice neighborhood. Everything in this apartment is of the highest quality and it is decorated so nicely. There is alot of 'love' that has gone into making this apartment a home-away-from-home. There is a private parking spot right in front of the house. The Apartment is located just a short 5 minute drive from Simmerath where you can find many stores, restaurants and cafes, and about 15 minutes or so from Monschau and Einruhr for example. For those on a Hiking Holiday, it is close to all that the Eifel has to offer plus you get to come home each evening to a really nice apartment. The Owners also live in this large home but the apartment is completely private. They were not there during my stay, but the key was in a lockbox and they also sent a message just to check in to make sure I had everything I needed. I am not sure what the price is during various seasons, but I found the price for the quality of this apartment to be very good. I would stay here again and would recommend to others without hesitation.

There is not much that I would change other than perhaps a larger Sofa and/or another chair to make relaxing in the evening a bit more comfortable. I was travelling alone so it was not a problem, but having a more spacious and Comfy Sofa would be a wonderful addition to this lovely apartment.

Nice accommodation but hidden surcharges

Clean, well furnished and a lot of space. Kitchen is equipped with all the needed items.

Apparently, clean linen and towels are not included in the price so we were asked to pay about 25% on top of the agreed price. The price of EUR 15 per person was notentioned anywhere, the owner only sent the details once the free cancellation period was over. Had we known this in advance we would've selected another property. Good we were not charged extra to use a toilet.

Leuk en proper appartement op een fijne locatie vlakbij mooie wandelpaden.

Proper en ruim appartement met aangename vloerverwarming. Heel fijne locatie om te wandelen. Verschillende wandelpaden vertrekken vlakbij het appartement. Monschau is op 15 minuten rijden en Aachen op 40 minuten. Er is ook een winkeltje op wandelafstand. Parkeren is gratis vlak voor de deur.

De slaapbank in de living is zeer hard. De bedden in de slaapkamer zijn wel goed.

Fabuleux séjour dans un tres spacieux logement très propre.

Logement très grand et très propre. La propriétaire était très sympa. La literie est très bonne, les draps sentaient très bons. Très bon équipement.

Il faudrait une Smart TV car quand on ne parle pas allemand on aimerait pouvoir se brancher sur une émission de son pays surtout en novembre quand il fait moche. Ce serait bien de mettre du sel, du poivre et du thé. Ce serait bien d'avoir les règles de la maison en anglais ou mieux en français.

Heerlijk

Mooie ligging op een rustige plek, leuk dorp met een kleine winkel. Hele aardige host, goede hygiëne en modern huisje. Dichtbij Monschau, veel wandelroutes in de buurt. Ook zeer geschikt voor de hond, alles was gelijkvloers.

Bank in de woonkamer was wat klein, wel uit te schuiven als slaapbank, dan konden we lekker met de benen omhoog na alle wandelingen in de mooie natuur!

Es ist alles sehr schön, modern und ruhig.

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr schön gebaut und mit allem, was das Herz begehrt ausgestattet. Das zweite Bad mit Toilette ist auch ein sehr guter Pluspunkt, welchen nur wenige Unterkünfte haben. Des Weiteren hat uns der persönliche Kontakt mit den Vermietern sehr gefreut. Gerne wieder.

Eine Mikrowelle wäre noch für unsere Situation mit Kleinkind schön gewesen. Das ist aber Wirklichkeit ein Minihaar in der Suppe 😊.

Goed: voorherhaling vatbaar.

Het betrof een mooie woning, begane grond, lekker ruim en voorzien van alle comfort. Zeer ruime badkamer met een zeer ruime douche. Los van de badkamer ook nog een zeer ruime toilet en een grote slaapkamer. Er was ook een stofzuiger. Fijn was dat er een sleutel in een kluisje lag. Makkelijk om in te checken. We hebben de host niet gezien. Maar de host verwelkomde ons per mail. We waren er met zeer warm weer. Ondanks de warmte buiten, was het binnen heerlijk koel en dat zonder airco. Op loopafstand van de woning is een dorpswinkel waar je de meeste voedingsmiddelen kunt kopen. Eicherscheid is een mooie uitvalsbasis voor wandelingen en fietstochten. We komen graag terug.

De vloer van de doucheruimte was glad, dus uitkijken met uitglijden. Ook misten we een rekje om zeep en shampoo in te zetten. Ook misten we een stang om je aan vast te houden in de doucheruimte. Het was even zoeken naar het sleutelkluisje. Dat zit wat ongelukkig laag bevestigd. Ik ben op mijn buik gaan liggen om het open te krijgen. Het 'terras' is aan de kleine kant. Het is een soort van grote glazen overkapping bij de voordeur aan de straatkant waar 2 stoelen en een tafel kunnen staan.

Ruim, netjes en schoon met vriendelijke ontvangst.

Erg ruime accommodatie, netjes en schoon. Je hebt de hele benedenverdieping tot je beschikking. De keuken is voorzien van alle gemakken. De badkamer is erg ruim. Op slechts een paar minuten lopen kun je lekkere verse broodjes halen.

Een wasmachine en droger zou je nog verwachten in deze accommodatie, maar zijn er niet. De bank als slaapbank is een praktische combinatie, maar niet heel comfortabel om langer op te zitten.

Wir waren auf der Durchreise und blieben eine Nacht – was wir im Nachhinein bereut haben. Ausgezeichnete Apartments in einer ruhigen Stadt – eine großartige Möglichkeit, ein oder zwei Wochen in entspannter Atmosphäre zu verbringen. Wenn Sie ein Auto haben, können Sie viele benachbarte Städte besuchen und sogar nach Belgien fahren. Die Wohnung ist sehr groß, hell und sauber. Die Eigentümer wohnen nebenan. Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet. Ein privater Parkplatz ist vorhanden. Die Fußbodenheizung trug wesentlich zum Wohlbefinden bei und sorgte für zusätzlichen Komfort.

Eine Waschmaschine ist nicht vorhanden, was bei einem längeren Aufenthalt berücksichtigt werden sollte.

Sehr gut eingerichtete Wohnung; zusätzlich noch mit Beschmückung zum Osterfest, das hat uns sehr gut gefallen

Die Ferienwohnung ist wunderschön eingerichtet, super sauber und sehr groß und hell. Man kann sich nur wohl fühlen und wir kommen gerne wieder und empfehlen die Wohnung gerne weiter. Die Wohnung bietet ebenfalls viel Platz für Stauraum, was sehr angenehm ist.

Много мил и приветлив Домакин съдейства ни за взимане на ключа от сейфа и е готов да помогне с всичко. Леглата бяха много удобни и банята беше много просторна. Добра локация пак бихме дошли тук.

Липсваше ни само Микровълнова печка и масата за хранене беше малка и поизносена, друго всичко беше добре.

Wunderbar ruhiger Silvester-Urlaub in der Eifel

Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig am Rande eines kleinen Eifeldorfs. Von dort aus kann man schöne Wanderungen wie z.B. den "Flurheckenweg" unternehmen oder Ausflüge in die nähere Umgebung wie z.B. Vogelsang, Rursee, Monschau, Aachen. Die Fewo selber ist sehr hochwertig renoviert und gut ausgestattet. Die Vermieter sind ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit, wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Wir hatten im Vorfeld Bettwäsche und Handtücher mit gebucht, es war alles vorhanden. Auch unser Hund hat sich wohlgefühlt und war willkommen.

Rustig gelegen.Groot appartement.Zeer netjes. Goed uitgerust. Overdekte plaats om buiten een sigaret te roken. Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame dame. Parking voor de deur. Appartement aangepast voor rolstoelgebruiker.

Het zetelbed in de living is te smal om met twee volwassenen in te slapen en het is zeer hard.
