Beautiful apartment with terrace and hiking nearby

The apartment was very comfortable, spacious, and extremely well equipped with everything you might need and more. The large terrace was beautiful, with a lovely stream running beside it, and it was the perfect place to watch the sun go down behind the hills after a long day of hiking. The location was excellent: quiet and peaceful, with hiking trails starting right at the doorstep as well as many more nearby.

On my last day there was some noise from the apartment above, though I don’t know if this was just occasional. Overall, it was still a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Clean apartment located in a beautiful hill

Clean apartment with about everything we needed, located near hiking trails between two hills. We had 2nd floor apartment with a balcony that was just large enough for barbecue. The kitchen had more than enough utensils and dishes. And we got all information in time.

The apartment was under attic with slanted walls, so watch you head when getting up from the bed or sofa. Also having a Bluetooth speaker would be great.

Comfy and nice view

We could arrange an earlier check in after contacting the host and was very helpful for us as we have a little kid. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious enough. The view from the balcony is the forest nearby and is very beautiful! The location is also very good and 20min drive to the trekking routes of the Eifel National Park.

The pillows were uncomfortable and some of the dishes weren’t clean! There was no supermarket or bakery nearby and we needed to go to another city.

Property is great with all the facilities that one would expect in a modern house. Location was beautiful, set in the valley amongst trees with a stream flowing behind the property which was visible from the living room.

Nothing much, only that since it was christmas period, it would have been nice to have some christmas decorations.

Our apartment is Bachblick6, 1. During the first few days the shower took really long to turn warm and the last few days there was NO warm shower at all. 2. The pillows are really bad, i had little sleep and a neckpain. 3. No extra trash bag provided, as we are required to separate the trash.

Spacious apartment with all needed amenities, close to all hiking trails and beautiful view form the balcony.

You have to be aware that check out time is at 10:00 in the morning not to be rushed out from the apartment. This was the third year in a row that we come to the same apartment every autumn and it was disappointing to see that the bed still has the same bed linen after three years of usage (I guess daily with the new customers), even though it was all washed, but I would still replace it after such a long time with the new one.. There were also some small things that already needed repairment/replacement: toilet sit was broken and the sink in the bathroom did not let the water flow.

Toll zum wandern

Wir waren in der Unterkunft BachHof 2 für drei Nächte. Die Wohnung reicht vollkommen aus für zwei Personen. Positive ist besonders die gute Ausstattung der Wohnung aufgefallen und die Sauberkeit. Am besten hat uns aber die Lage gefallen, perfekt um einfach etwas von der Stadt abzuschalten und wandern zu gehen.

Perfektes Quartier für ein paar Tage mitten in der Natur.

Die Wohnung ist mitten im Nationalpark, man kann quasi von der Haustür aus loswandern. Sie ist sehr praktisch und relativ neu eingerichtet, man hat alles, was man braucht.

Uitstekende verblijf en mooi centraal gelegen met meerdere leuke uitstapjes op korte afstand.

Eenvoudig te vinden. 1 parkeerplaats per appartement. Heerlijk stille omgeving. In het appartement was vrijwel alles aanwezig om een aangenaam verblijf te hebben.

Zoals in een bosrijke omgeving wel te verwachten is loopt er her en der wel eens een spinnetje of ander insect rond. In de keuken mis je soms wat kleinere braad/koekenpannen om wat kleins klaar te maken. Maar dat is eigenlijk overal zo.

Communicatie alleen in het Duits voelt wat onvriendelijk. Zou fijn zijn als de host ook in het Engels kan communiceren.

Wat de foto's je niet vertellen

Omgeving is fantastisch mooi. De afgelegen lokatie van de woning vonden wij plezierig. Met de auto op korte afstand zijn er restaurantjes en winkels. Het aantal m2 van het appartement en de twee badkamers waren fijn.

De toegewezen parkeerplaats voor bij het appartement was bezet door een andere auto. De bordjes van Gäste kunnen beter aan de straatkant worden geplaats ipv aan het einde aan de zijkant van het complex. Bij binnenkomst viel ons gelijk op dat de gezamelijke trapopgang erg vies was. Stofplukken en etenskruimels die ons gehele verblijf er hebben gelegen. Ook de kleden op de grond doen erg vies aan. Het appartement is erg gehorig. Als je mensen naast je hebt kun je hun gesprekken meeluisteren. Verhuurder geeft aan dat de handdoeken en beddengoed niet bij de prijs in zit. Wij hebben dit zelf meegenomen. Vinden dat als je een accomodatie huurt dit bij de service of prijs hoort in te zitten. De bank ziet er comfortabel uit, maar zit niet lekker. Er vlogen veel wespen door het keukenraam. De douche is verschrikkelijk. Zeer laag waterdruk, kleine douchekop en temperatuur is niet constant. 1 van de 2 wc's is heel slecht in het wegspoelen van toiletpapier. Dagelijks krijg je bericht van de verhuurder met instructies over gebruik appartement, afval en schoonmaak. Wij vonden dit erg onplezierig. Het zou beter zijn dit in 1 bericht te sturen bij aankomst.

Mooi gelegen appartement, aanrader!

Het appartement is ruim en mooi ingericht. De keuken heel compleet ingericht. Het balkon kijkt uit op de beek en het bos. Rustgevende omgeving. Mooi lichte woning. Het was wat regenachtig, dus fijn vertoeven. In de huiskamer is geen zonwering. Of het warm wordt bij zon kan ik niet inschatten. Badkamers volledig en luxe uitstraling. De grote bedden prima. Tip: Het beddengoed was mooi, maar synthetisch. Daar moet je tegen kunnen. Staat in de beschrijving, maar handig te weten. De eigenaar heeft op verzoek de bijdrage daarvoor terug gestort. Meenemen kan ook. Er staat zelfs een bbq en gourmetstel. Vaste parkeerplek op naam van het appartement. Overige appartementen zien er ook goed uit zo op afstand. Complex is netjes onderhouden.

Het is handig wat proviand mee te nemen. De dichtstbijzijnde winkels zijn op ongeveer 15 minuten afstand. Is te doen. De laatste twee nachten was een groep jongeren ingetrokken in het appartement onder ons. Er was enorm veel geluidsoverlast. Dat was duidelijk hoorbaar. Dagen ervoor ging dat beter. De eigenaar gemeld. Deze heeft direct contact opgenomen met de heren die ons uit de slaap hielden in de nacht voor vertrek.
