This is a wonderful place - IF you have no problem with steep and narrow staircases (even the street leading up to the place is steep). The view is spectacular, there is a lot of space, and everything you need is provided for. The apartment has character. It is very tastefully furnished (with artwork etc.) and has a lived-in, comfortable atmosphere. Despite its comparatively central location, it is quiet. The shower works well, too. If it is available, book it!
The mattress is somewhat soft and sags a little in the middle; the baking sheets were dirty. Parking was not available in the vicinity even in September - this seems to be a general St. Ives problem.

We loved the views, the large socialising area, the lovely children's bedroom.The handiness of the washing machine and dishwasher. Lots of kitchen pots, pans trays and utensils and the best frying pan ever!
There wasn't anything we didn't like.
