Very nice decor and location

Location as it was very near to all the attractions in the Broads. Half between coast and Norwich for sightseeing. Walkable to pubs and river boat trip. Nice to be next to the water. Beds and chairs comfortable. Water themed decorations throughout representing the area which was a nice touch. Full kitchen equipment including cafeteria. Cleaning pack with wash up liquid, cloth and towel. Wash soap provided and toilet paper. Clean well decorated inside the house.

Outside areas which could have been swept front and back of house made a poor impression as inside was clean and comfortable. Not sure if that’s the duty of the cleaning contractor? Keysafe key was almost lost twice when dropping it as gaps in the decking so maybe a cord or chain would help retrieval (feedback suggestion). Plug in bath does not work as it’s too big for the bath and cold tap cover in kitchen fell off. These were reported to the rental company with times we’d be out for them to address the issue but nothing happened. Maybe because we said it wasn’t urgent. Microwave oven has worn interior but works fine. Rubbish to go in industrial bins but none available. Only ordinary refuse bins which had names of the various rentals which didn’t include Buttercup Lodge so that was confusing. Parking is tight when there is a full rental but adequate it’s on unmade and uneven gravel.
