The property overlooks the River Bure – the best way to explore its waters is by boarding a paddleboat from Horning or hiring a boat from nearby Wroxham (4 miles). Walkers will love the wide choice of scenic walks all around that follow the riverbanks and cut into the surrounding countryside – those who prefer exploring on two wheels can hire bikes nearby. More adventures await in Salhouse Broad (6.5 miles), where you can hire canoes to explore the region’s famous network of waterways. For family days out, BeWILDerwood (1.5 miles) offers an exciting adventure park, while the vibrant city of Norwich sits just 12.5 miles away.
