La Vecchia Torre - Panoramic Villa on the Hill

A historic residence of importance in the ancient county of Mascali, it hosts, still well preserved, one of the seven watchtowers built between 1520 and 1570. In the 16th century, during the hospitalization of Count Juan Torres de Osorio, it was renovated, enriched with other real estate units and used as a manor house for the cultivation of citrus fruits and for the vineyards. The Villa "La torre Antica", completely renovated in 2020, occupies part of the historic building and is nestled on the Tagliaborse hill overlooking Giarre and the sea; from this happy position you can enjoy a breathtaking view! After having understood how to get there thanks to our explanatory video, the property has a large parking lot for the exclusive use of guests. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms and two kitchens are made available to guests. The garden is equipped with a lovely swimming pool located under the ancient tower, a barbecue area, a large patio and an excellent wood-fired oven.
