Town: Ballycarry is a quaint village resting between the large town of Carrickfergus and the town of Larne. With its rich heritage and pretty landscapes, Ballcarry is not far from Whitehead and offers wonderful coastal views. Dining options include Millars Bar Ballcarry and Weavers Café, while you can stock up on essentials at the nearby The village store Ballycarry. Just outside the village is Whitehead, a large seaside village on the east coast of County Antrim. Take a wander along the Whitehead Promenade, scrub up on some local history at Whitehead Railway Museum, or take your furry friend to Beach Road Nature Reserve. Venture to Carrickfergus, where you can practice your golf swing at Carrickfergus Golf Club, have dinner by the sea at Castello Italia, and explore Carrickfergus Castle. Further afield you will find Belfast and Ballymena, both accessible by train.
