Perfect for our family!

The property was clean and plenty of space for our family of five! We enjoyed the town within walking distance and famous sites a short car ride away too!

Perfect house for visit of Ballycastle

Great house, comfortable and large for 6 people, rooms as well as bathrooms. All necessery commodities. Close to center and beach. Small gardena which was also nice. Fast answer by host on questions.

The frying pans were very outdated and too big for the fire which made it hard to cook. Baby cot wasn't set up as expected and not everything 100% clean. Spring beds, not to our liking (personal choice).

Gem Of A Place

Fantastic location, beautiful home, it has everything you need. Loved the pool table.

Beds were a bit uncomfortable. We could feel the springs from the mattress. Didn't mind paying a pound for the pool table, but the cues need to be replaced and need more chalk for them.

Nice stay at Spireview Townhouse

Quiet location. Near to two excellent pub/ restaurants The Diamond and The Anzac. We enjoyed both in particular the bar in Anzac who were very friendly and welcoming. Town house as all the facilities you need to enjoy your stay. While we only spoke on the phone or text Steph our host was lovely.

I wouldn't say I didn't like it... but the beds were very firm and that is just a personal preference. we had an excellent stay and would stay again.

Disappointed

Location was good

The house was dirty in a lot of places, I was very disappointed. Even inside the fridge. The toilet bin. The kitchen floor hadn't been mopped. Also the outdoor area looked nothing like the pictures, which is the only reason I booked this place so I was very disappointed. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and me and my boyfriend both had sore backs every morning waking up. We could not find the machine machine anywhere until we asked the host and it is behind a locked door, we ended up not using it at all. The location was very good.

Clean, comfortable with easy access to town centre and beachfront.

We stayed at the Spire View over 8 yrs ago when our kids were much younger. Returning there after all these years was so familiar it felt right. The property is so central and within walking distance to the beachfront. It’s is clean and well maintained. Hopefully we won’t leave it that long returning to the property.

I can’t think of anything we did not like about this property.

Clean and matched the photos. Any communication with the owners was friendly and questions were responded to quickly. 15 min walk to the seafront and about 5 minutes to the local co-op.

The living space is up one flight of stairs and the bedroom is up a second flight. If you have any accessibility issues, it probably wouldn't suit.

plenty of room. well equipped with some basics which was welcome but no sugar for the coffee . the location is great a really quiet well appointed house.

the standard lamp was missing bulbs and there fair few cobwebs .

we booked the property for 6 (occupancy). when i contacted the owner to ask if it could accommodate another person, we were offered a mattress, but that came with a very curt reminder that parties weren’t allowed and a ridiculous cost if more than double what we were paying per head for the people in beds. there is also a cost associated with accessing washing and drying facilities.

Absolutely filthy oven that stank the house out and was too disgusting to use, thus wasting the food we bought to cook. Fan in en-suite does not work and there is a damp smell and a build up of mould around the shower cubicle. Not something that is the fault of host but could not use garden due to overpowering smell of weed.

Great stay

We had a great stay at the weekend, the house has everything that is needed, pool table was also a bonus. Its a great sea side town plenty of bars local that serve lovely food.

Only thing was that this property is up a very steep hill, my dad doesn't have great mobility and was a struggle. We should of check it out more before stay.

Very good

The house very very convenient for the centre of Ballycastle, with all the pubs, cafes and shops. It was comfortable and spacious and the garden area was lovely (although it was too cold to go out in it at that time). The beds were comfortable and everywhere was clean. A nice touch was some board games, books and dvds. The pool table was a hit also!

Some hooks in the bathroom (ensuite) to hang up towels would be useful, as would a shelf to place toiletries on. The main bedroom didn't have any hanging space, and a coat stand in the hall would have been useful. Didn't matter to us too much as we were only there for a few days.
