This was the perfect place for our family of three to stay for the weekend. There's a park within walking distance, it's really close to downtown, and only a short drive from everything else in Valpo. It was very clean, the beds were *so* comfy (can't be said for all rental places) and the smaller bedroom has black-out curtains (the king-size bedroom does not) so the kiddo slept to a reasonable time both nights we stayed! There are a few board games in the living room, and we were thankful for the PBS Retro channel on the Roku to keep the kid busy while we loaded up! Just a couple of heads up, the shower door had a habit of slowly opening on its own, but we wedged a washcloth between the doors and that took care of it. Also, there weren't a whole lot of plates and cutlery, just a set of four (big plates, small plates, bowls), so plan to wash dishes or run the dishwasher after each meal you eat there! Each house has its quirks, and I've stayed in plenty of rentals - this one is seriously a great one! Hayley is responsive and helpful (it got cold one night we were there and needed a code to switch from AC to heat and she was super fast to respond). Overall, highly recommend!

We love staying at Hayley’s home. It’s beautiful and charming, and she has been an amazing host for us. Ways to communicate with and very accommodating. Great stay for our family!

This cottage is very aesthetically pleasing. It was very clean, and well maintained. The owner was prompt in responding to text messages as well as phone calls. No complaints other than it took the home a while to get warm. I would definitely stay here again!Heidi

This property was a great fit for our family. Walking distance to the park for the kids, nice neighborhood. Close to stores and town. We loved it, the house was so charming, and our host was excellent to work with!
