About this house rental

This perfect 3-bedroom home is walking distance to fabulous restaurants, local shops, antique store, breweries and wineries. House of TarTar is our prince frog logo for guests to remember our location. Just 25 minutes from Lake Michigan and Dunes National Park. An hour to Chicago via transportation downtown. There are multiple free parking spots off the main street to this property. Ramp to back entrance of home.

This rental was terrific. The owners delivered fresh eggs to us which we used for breakfast each day we stayed. My sons stayed upstairs (which doesn't have a bathroom) and it was slightly warm. The owners immediately brought over an AC unit for them. The owners replied quickly to all questions and were very kind. We used this rental to visit Indiana Dunes and Chicago. It was a perfect spot!

Our family of six had an absolutely amazing stay at this VRBO! From the moment we arrived, it felt like the perfect place to unwind and spend quality time together.The property was spotless, comfortable, and had plenty of room for all of us. The kids absolutely loved visiting the chickens every day.The property was quiet, well-maintained, and had everything we needed to feel right at home.The hosts clearly put a lot of thought into making their guests feel welcome, and it showed in every detail. Communication was excellent, check-in was seamless, and everything exceeded our expectations.We made so many great family memories here and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. If you’re looking for a peaceful, family-friendly getaway with unique touches like friendly chickens and a relaxing hot tub, this is the place. Highly recommend—we’d give it more than five stars if we could!
