About this house rental
New Listing!! Only a few words to describe this stunning townhome in historic Beaufort! ! This home is pet friendly with a small fenced in private patio area off the living room, complete with outside dining area and gas grill to prepare your meal. Completely remodeled end unit, it boasts all the comforts of home but decorated in a coastal theme. The home hosts two spacious bedrooms with queen beds. The primary bedroom has the washer/dryer, a work station for those that can't completely abandon the job and a balcony with chairs and a view over the rooftops to Taylor's Creek and the ocean. You can hear the ocean waves on a quiet night. There is also a pull-out queen-size couch on the first floor for those extra two guests that want to join the fun. It has a fully equipped kitchen, Hi-speed internet and a fireplace for those cooler nights. Parking spaces available for 2 vehicles, plus an off street parking space behind the home by the patio.
Books are provided on the historic town of 18th century Beaufort for your reading pleasure. Take a short stroll to Taylors Creek on Front Street to see the White Ibis birds that populate the area. There you will also find ferry rides to Cape Lookout, sunset cruises, dolphin watches and wild horses on Carrot Island, many fine restaurants and shops, old historic homes, and a must see Maritime Museum. Saturdays, from April through November, stroll through the Beaufort Market. You can also take a short drive over the bridge into Morehead City and enjoy the beach from Atlantic Beach or down the island to Emerald Isle. The Aquarium in Pine Knoll Shores is also a must see during rainy days. The hardest part of your vacation is deciding whether to relax on the beach or going to see all the sights. This home is in the heart of it all!

The White Ibis Retreat was ideal for our vacation. We were able to walk to the waterfront easily and enjoy the houses along the way. The dog park was very convenient across the street. The property is nestled in the trees and was very peaceful. We enjoyed relaxing on the back porch while reading and grilling. The condo was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and such. We appreciated the washer and dryer as well. Although it was nice to have televisions I would like to have had a Bose radio or Alexa to play music. The bed was comfortable and the closet organizers are a welcome addition. We had a wonderful day cruise on the Crystal Coast Lady. They have local guides and friendly staff. A great way to enjoy the horses and dolphins and to see the Beaufort area. We are definitely ready to plan another trip back to Beaufort and to stay at the White Ibis Retreat.

The location of White Ibis Retreat was a perfect location for convenience and lots of great things to see and do. The short walk to downtown Beaufort was such a treat. The scenic view of the water, boats and ferries going in and out along with the wonderful shops and restaurants was amazing. The food was excellent at The Black Sheep restaurant. Our ferry ride to Bird Shoals was a very unique experience. Once in the beach area we were able to find live sand dollars, oysters and crabs. In addition we were able to see the Wild Horses along the waters bank. Our other visited location was only a 15 minute drive to sunbathe and ride the waves at Atlantic Beach. We combined fun with an educational experience by touring Fort Macon only a few minutes away. We also ventured out a little further to Emerald Isle to have another beach experience. Each day it was wonderful returning to the comfort of the townhouse. It was decorated beautifully and provided all the comforts of home. I would definitely give it 5 stars and would recommend to my family and friends. This location will certainly be a return visit for us for sure. Thanks for such a wonderful vacation.

We had a great time at White Ibis Retreat! The property and location were exactly what we were looking for. Clean and perfect walking distance to everything. Enjoyed our evening walks to Mill Whistle Brewing and mornings on the patio. Would highly recommend.

We stayed at the White Ibis Retreat in Beaufort a few days and it was perfect! It's close to restaurants and shops on the water. The unit is nicely decorated and very clean. Pet friendly was a huge plus. Would highly recommend and hope to stay again.
