Home is in excellent condition in a quiet neighborhood near many regional attractions and city resources. We rented to hybrid work for a couple days, then enjoy hikes/lakes with local family. WiFi worked great for 2 professionals working at same time, and 1 of the bedrooms includes a desk. All solid flooring which is good for allergies. The home has no AC, but...we were there for over a week during a very hot 4th of July holiday (high 90's) and it was not a problem. It quickly cools off at night, so we opened the windows & used the ceiling/floor fans to bring in the cool air, then closed up the house during the day and it stayed cool enough all day. Completely empty 2-car garage so room to store gear/vehicles inside although we never needed to do so. Furnished with all the basics including full size washer & dryer, and a new furniture delivery was happening the day we left! Prior reviewer mentioned that there was no outdoor furniture, but there is now both a small table/chairs under the shaded front porch as well as a nice outdoor dining table, seats ~6-8 in the large area at back of house (note, it's all dirt, no grass - low maintenance for owner and kids who like a giant sandbox!).

House was great for family, we each had our own room which makes it much nicer than a hotel. Very simple and clean. Unfortunately there was a very loud rooster and many neighborhood chickens, due to the no AC we had the windows open which made for earlier mornings than we wanted.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was conveniently located to everything. It was clean and comfortable, and we would love to stay there again.

While the house was in a good neighborhood, was clean and all beds were comfortable, the one big flaw about this location is the fact there is no air conditioning. There is nothing in the listing that states there is no air conditioner. If you are going to list a place to rent that is located on a high desert, that has hot temperatures, I think it would be fair to disclose this up front. In 2024, most people expect a house in a residential area to have a/c. I’m sure the management company will say that the renter should check if there is a/c, and yes that’s on us, but why not just disclose this up front. Average temperature in Bend for July and August are 82. It was 98 degrees while we were there. The house was 86 degrees inside and extremely uncomfortable. We couldn’t even be in the house during the day time because of the heat in the house. We would stay here any other time except summer.
