Situated between the major attractions around Tivoli, this villa is a perfect base for exploring. We also appreciated the ease of having a private place to park. The owner provided easy-to-follow directions and check-in instructions, as well as a good restaurant recommendation for dinner. The view from our room & the breakfast room across the valley to Rome was second to none. The owner even pointed out the dome of St. Peter on the horizon. (Highly recommend a room on the back side of the villa for this reason - we stayed in the green room). The property is clean and well-kept. Breakfast was plentiful, including hard boiled eggs and meat/cheese. There is also a nice patio/garden to take in the view.

Everything you can think of is provided - wine, meat, cheese, cereal, milk, yoghurt as well as a unique place to stay. It is not your normal style of accomodation but that is what I liked about it. It is old, rustic and charming. You can walk to the historical centre in about 10 minutes and there is a supermarket, cafe, fruit shop and other things nearby as well.
